Perhaps, because so many in Congress are attorneys who help promote laws that create more work for the legal profession. California has more attorneys than any state. Why? Beacuse California allows frivolous lawsuits. Creating a lawsuit against a business forces the business to go to court or settle. It is legalized extortion. Two things you can do to fight this abuse:
